Doxycycline hydrochloride

This product is light yellow or yellow crystalline powder.

Tetracycline antibiotics. Doxycycline binds reversibly to the receptor on the 30S subunit of the bacterial ribosome, interferes with the formation of ribosome complexes between tRNA and mRNA, prevents peptide chain elongation and inhibits protein synthesis, thereby rapidly inhibiting bacterial growth and reproduction. The negative bacteria have inhibitory effect. The bacteria had cross resistance to doxycycline and oxytetracycline.
It is quickly absorbed by oral administration, less affected by food, has high bioavailability, strong tissue permeability, wide distribution, and long maintenance time of effective blood drug concentration. The protein binding rate in pigs was 93%.

Tetracycline antibiotics. It is used to treat colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis caused by gram-positive and negative bacteria in pigs and chickens and respiratory diseases caused by mycoplasma.

Calculated by this product. Mixed drink: 0.25-0.5g for each water, pig: 3g for chicken. It can be used continuously for 3~5 days.

Long term use can cause double infection and liver damage.

(1) It is prohibited for laying hens during laying period.
(2) Avoid taking it with the feed with high calcium content.
